Now, these two are quite the pair.  Cricket and Hattie Mae, are sisters and littermates.  Being together, since their beginning, they are inseparable.  They do everything together, from sleeping to gnawing down trees.  These two clowns, are a hoot.

Cricket and Hattie Mae have a very special place in our hearts, to fill the void, of their Mother, we lost during their birth.  Even though they never knew her, they carry on, many of her antics and mannerisms.

Hattie Mae is a bit larger than Cricket, but Cricket is the "bossy" big sis. 

We are getting so much enjoyment out of watching them grow up.

I myself, cannot wait for their first breeding, spring of 2011.

In the background of the picture  above, you can see our tree trunk is wrapped in a wire mesh, to keep our two beavers from chewing it down.  Ah yes, two puppies at once, is a barrel of fun!  Never a dull moment, around here. 

I love Cricket, and Hattie Mae seems to gravitate to Gary.
